The 1st Sold Out Two-Night K-Pop Concert in the Philippines

​Bangtan Sonyeondan’s third solo concert in the Philippines: The Wings Tour 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III in Manila is one of the proof of their global fame. It is the first sold out two-night K-Pop concert in the country produced by Pulp Live World which was held on May 6-7, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

​For the Manila Leg of their concert, they performed their 2016 hits such as “Fire” and “Blood, Sweat and Tears”. The said songs have earned them the Artist of the Year award at the prestigious Mnet Asian Music Awards 2016. Rapmon, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook also rocked ARMY’s favorites such as “Not Today”, “Boy in Love”, “Danger”, “No More Dream” and “I Need You”.

​Filipino ARMYs (BTS’ fandom) prepared some fan projects which the boys noticed and made them even tear up because of the effort of their fans. They expressed their appreciation by talking to the crowd in Tagalog. Jin even showed handwritten note which says “Mahal Kita” (I love you).

​BTS’ two-night concert in the country was not enough as fans were requesting for one more day because there are still a lot of them who were not able to watch the concert because the tickets were sold out within a day. Their fast growing fanbase not only in the Philippines, but in the whole world proved that these boys are South Korea’s top boy group.
