Title: 판다양과 고슴도치 / Pandayanggwa Goseumdochi
Genre: Romance, comedy
Plot
Go Seung Ji (Lee Dong Hae) is a patissier who has been an orphan since childhood and has a gruff and prickly personality that matches his nickname of “Hedgehog (Goseumdochi).” He meets the easygoing and sweet-natured Pan Da Yang (Yoon Seung Ah), better known as “Panda,” who hires him as the new patissier of Café Panda. Together, the two work to make Café Panda a success while fending off competition from the Saint-Honoré bakery franchise. Choi Won Il (Choi Jin Hyuk) returned from USA to take over and manage Saint-Honoré from his step dad. Choi Won Il and Pan Da Yang are childhood friends and are looking for their long lost friend Min Woo. Go Seung Ji and Pan Da Yang began dating for Seung Ji to know how it is to be in order for him to create a Lover’s cake. Meanwhile Choi Won Il also like Pan Da Yang, so the three of them got into a love triangle.

Verdict
As sweet as macaroon, Panda and Hedgehog created a light atmosphere for the viewers. It offered also a variety of emotions like bitterness, love, and happiness in some of the episodes. The story is simple but you would not dare to miss an episode! Showing how cakes are made also added a different feel to the story, it made me want to eat one especially those that they used in the story. Panda and Hedgehog is a drama that you should not miss especially if you are a die hard fan of Super Junior’s Dong Hae! (Fishy!)
