‘All Eyes on You: Your Korean Wedding Day’ at the Mayor’s Thames Festival

The 100 day festival of Korean Culture ‘All Eyes On Korea’ will draw to a close with our participation in the Mayor’s Thames Festival on the 8th and 9th September 2012. This year the Korea stage will take place in front of the Tate Modern Gallery and include a wealth of events inspired by art and culture. A leading event on both days will be a stage performance featuring a traditional Korean wedding ceremony.

With two demonstrations over the weekend the KCCUK is looking for couples to join us and take part in the traditional wedding demonstration (It doesn’t matter if you are already married!).

If you would like to experience a traditional Korean Wedding Ceremony, try on the costumes and celebrate the customs please see the application details attached and email them to info@kccuk.org.uk (Deadline for Applications: 23rd August 2012, 5pm)

Two Couples will be chosen for the Wedding Performance (one for Saturday and one for Sunday)

The chosen couples will receive:

- Video clip of the wedding and Photo album of the day

- Invitation to the ‘All Eyes On Korea’ Evening Reception on Sunday 9th
